Tim Stock is the co-founder of scenarioDNA, an innovation consultancy with offices in New York City and Mexico. He leads anthropologists and data scientists in solving brand, service and design problems for companies including IKEA, Iusacell, Nike, Russian Standard Vodka and TVAzteca. He is the co-inventor of a semiotic method of culture mapping that reveals patterns in linguistic data. Tim is also a Part-Time Assistant Professor at Parsons the New School for Design, where he has taught trend analysis and design research since 2005. He is also on the participating faculty at the Hong Kong Design Centre’s Institute of Design Knowledge.

If we continue to propagate diluted forms of the things that we crave and love, we are rewiring future generations to accept lesser forms of passion. Evolution should not be separated from its symbolic roots. Once we can see the system that exists behind our indulgences, it will clear the way for a new vision.
