She will present "The Dark Side of Being Betwixt and Between", looking at how being in a transition state may be unsettling for some and how rituals and transitional objects provide reprieve.
SHORT BIO
Alexandra Schüessler holds a PhD in cultural anthropology and works as a curator and designer, translating logo-centric texts into spatial and sensual experiences through exhibitions and performances. She works with ethnographical objects, graphic design, photography, and art objects. She is currently preparing an exhibition on fake food at Textilmuseum St. Gallen.
