Alfredo is the Director of Semiotics at De la Riva Group. Born in Chile, raised in Uruguay and Argentina, did his PhD in France, is married to an Italian, but has worked from Mexico for the last 4 decades, both as a University professor and commercial semiotician. Recent projects include F&B brands and comparative semiotics across LATAM.
Adelina is Head of Comparative Culture Studies in De la Riva Group, a semiotic and anthropologic initiative studying LATAM cultures. She has done extensive ethnographic and semiotic work with migrant communities in the US, throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
