Round table: Teaching Applied Semiotics: thinking, practice, experience.

Academia, from design and marketing schools up to universities faces an increasing demand of training programs in semiotics. Applicants are both students preparing for a future career and professionals looking for enhancement of their analytical competences.
If the offer of theoretical semiotics education is today quite popular, applied semiotics programs allying practice and theory are more difficult to find. This panorama is fragmented in hectically different methodological approaches and on the top of this, there is no solid “tradition” to lean on.
The round table gathers professors and teaching professionals in semiotics to share their point of view and direct experience.
